Delete your Akantio POS account

Akantio POS is developed by Akantio. This page explains how to delete your account and the data linked to it, on every platform including the Android app.

How to request deletion

  1. Send an email from the address you use to sign in to Akantio POS.
  2. Use the subject "Account deletion request". You may add your company name to help us find the account.
  3. We confirm the request by email and delete the account within 30 days.

Data we delete

  • Your account: name, email address and password
  • Your company profile and team members
  • Your licenses and the devices activated with them
  • Store data synced to Akantio POS web: products, customers and orders

Data we keep

  • Invoices and payment records, for 7 years, as tax law requires
  • Security audit logs, for 2 years
  • Support emails, for up to 3 years

Data on your device

The desktop and Android apps keep your store data in a database on the device itself. We cannot reach it, so deleting your account does not remove it. Uninstall the app, or clear its storage in your device settings, to remove it.
